Is this thing on?

Here we go first blog. 

I (Nigel) went to a course on using social media and website marketing etc on Thursday, which was actually really good (care of businessservices and imc2) and we talked in depth about the use of facebook, twitter, blogs and the like for business.  Something I had been interested in using as a marketing tool for awhile (35 million users and its free... how could you go wrong?)

When we came to blogs someone immediately voiced my question which was, "why would anyone want to bother reading my blog?" And the answer from the instructor was "who cares? Even if you want people to read it they probably won't", mmk sounds good I think?

So in an attempt to keep up with the cool kids here we are.

If you have somehow manged to find us and are at all remotely interested follow us and we will either amaze you or bore you with happenings from our busy cafe (Nectar Cafe) in Whangarei, New Zealand, and all the trials and tribulations of having a business, young family and all the other trials and tribulations along the way.

For our first real blog which we (or more likely just Nigel) will write sometime this week we will share some info on why we decided to close casual evening dining part of our business.
